    I have been camping both in a tent and also in a camper. I love the camp fires most and remember staring into the flames for the first time when I was a kid. Love to watch those flames dance.

    I made this makeshift fish trap with a water bottle, was so fun to catch and release fish in the lake.

    I used to camp all the time. Fave memory is waking up in a flooded tent as it leaked during a storm!

    I went camping every vacation while growing up where we had to inflate a half an air mattress each. We started with a big tent, went to pup tents and then a pop out the sides camper that slept 4. On a whitewater college trip, the pup tent came in handy and we all went through the most difficult rapids. Singing around the campfire and telling scary stories are fond memories.

    Yes, I have been camping many, many times growing up with a father who was an outdoorsman who liked to hunt and fish. I remember one such trip where we slept outside in bedrolls up on cots so the rattlesnakes wouldnt come at night and get in our bedrolls for warmth. I did have better camping trips than that one.
