I think for me its all about popping in and out of cool showers, or heading over to the beach and sitting in the water.I also make sure I drink plenty of water.

I either stay inside (with the AC of course!) or swim and lounge around in the pool.

I have AC and I also run fans to keep the air moving. I also read alot to escape the heat.

Eating chilled watermelon, staying in the shade or inside during the hottest hours.

We have been having excessive heat advisories so we have mostly stayed inside in the air conditioning.

We stay inside in the air conditioning because we have extreme heat advisories.

I handle it by air conditioning and fans, and staying inside…not much else I can do; cold towels are too messy and heavy to carry while using a walker. I don’t drink too much as that creates another issue of having to go to the bathroom too many times. It’s hard for sure.

Staying in the house with the air conditioning on! We are having over a week of 100+ weather. UGH!!!!

Generally I handle it with air conditioning. A couple of weeks ago my A/C blower motor went out. I opened the windows and turned on the ceiling fans in the rooms that have them (the living room and master bedroom). The repairman came the next day but it took most of the day for the repair. Almost $900 later I again have air conditioning. Worth every penny!

Staying inside with the AC on. Or spending time by the pool with cold drinks & frozen treats on hand! 🙂

Air conditioning is a godsend, but super cold ice water, iced coffee, or sweet iced tea runs a close second must have for summer!

Last summer when it was too hot I’d go to the movie theater. Ha! This summer I just stayed in most of the time and went swimming when I could.
    Thanks for the contest.

I stay cool drinking lots of lemon water, and leaving the windows open at night, to create a cross-breeze.

I handle hot summer days/nights by staying indoors where there is a/c. It’s crazy hot here in AZ!
